LifeLight Stories
LifeLight was great! I'm so grateful that this can go on every year. It's amazing how many people come! I saw little babies to elderly people! It's really fantastic to see all the people come and here all the bands. There was always something going on, that helps for people to keep coming! Thanks so much for LifeLight!

I apologize for writing so late! What another fantastic LifeLight Festival 2003! We used to live in Sioux Falls, and were there when LifeLight started. It has grown into such an awesome, God inspired event each year. Even to see how much it has grown in the last two years is incredible. My family, which includes two teen-age daughters
and an eight year old son, and, of course my wife and I, now plan our summer around LifeLight. Wouldn't miss it!!

This year was my one-year anniversary as a believer in Christ. Thanks to the LifeLight ministry I gave my life to Christ at LifeLight 2002.

It is so awesome to be able to have such a special date and celebration that I will always be able to remember my salvation by. Thanks to LifeLight ministries I made the best decision in my life. LifeLight 2004 can't come soon enough. I count the days from one year to the next. Thanks again to all those believers who help make LifeLight possible. This year I brought my mom to LifeLight, and I think it made her consider things too. She believes in Christ, but I am not sure if she has a personal relationship with him. This year at LifeLight my mom walked to the prayer tent with me. Praise God for the wonderful ministry of LifeLight.

"It was the best time I think I ever had in my life!
I want everyone in my High school to come next year!"

I would just like to say THANK YOU for LifeLight. I loved the entire weekend. I am in high school, and I had to take off half a day of school, and I am SOOOO glad I did. I am also involved in volleyball, and I had to run like 3 miles to make it up...a mile for every hour of practice missed. BUT IT WAS ALL WORTH IT. It was the best time I think I have ever had in my LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It really made me think about my life, and how I am serving Him with my life. Chris Tomlin and Rebecca St. James touched my heart the most. I am not much of a crying person, but during those two performers, I was BAWLING. Rebecca helped me realize how much more radical I can be for Him, and Chris helped me realize that God is soooo AMAZING, AND TRULY THE FAMOUS ONE! I want everyone in my high school to come to LifeLight 2004. It was that GOOD! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THIS FREE EVENT! MAY GOD BLESS YOU, AND MAY HE BLESS YOU A LOT! I CAN NOT SAY THANK YOU ENOUGH.Iowa
LifeLight Festival 2003 was amazing! I've traveled all over North America and have never been to as good a production as this. Keep up the good work guys! You should do something like this in Western Canada. It would be awesome! See you at LifeLight Festival 2004!

My family and I were able to go to the LifeLight festival--FREE-- in Sioux Falls. This is one of the most amazing ministries out there for free to reach young people and parents with young children. I can't even find the words to describe how exciting it was. The band lineup was the best. Rebecca St. James, FFH, Geoff More, Jeff Deyo, Sonicflood, Superchic(k), Chris Tomlin, Zoegirl, Newsboys, the Awesome Audio Adrenaline for you adrenaline junkies, and of course the new and awe-inspiring Jeremy Camp!

Your ministry in music for everyone, especially young people, is a gift that is so needed in today's world."

Our favorite was Jeremy and his band. They are so musically talented for such a young band that you could not tell the difference between the CD and live. Other than the tears running down your face from the heartstrings they pulled. The weather cooperated but personally I would have stood out there with my 4 and 10 year old if it was pouring down rain and my kids would have loved it still. The messages were great and the church service was unapologetic about Jesus and about hounding you for a decision to live for Christ. The site of grandmas and grandkids rocking together was a blast to watch. Probably the best thing though was seeing teenagers and college students pouring out their hearts and going crazy for Christ. Seeing them gives me a lot of hope for our future because these young people have an avenue that is positive and grabs them off the beaten path to unashamedly worship their savior. Ten years ago I did not have this and twenty years ago people did not have this. Your ministry in music for everyone, especially young people, is a gift that is so needed in today's world. Having things like the Refuge, LifeLight Festival, and other various festivals allow God to work through these talented musicians spreading the message and making the Holy Spirit a tangible thing for all! My head is still ringing with thirty thousand young kids screaming to Audio's "It's my Father's House" all around me, and I love it. I just had to send a quick note to tell you what a GREAT time we had up at LifeLight this weekend. Music, camping, fellowship, God. I mean what more could anyone ask for. I don't know if I met you or even saw you this weekend but it was GREAT and we have already made plans to come next year and thinking about helping out in some way. Also about who else we can get to come; saved and unsaved. YOU ALL DID A WONDERFUL JOB! May God bless you all.
WOW! What a day. I had never been to a LifeLight Festival before. In fact, I'd never even heard of it. Am I glad we know now! Because of my work schedule, Sunday was the only day we were able to attend. My 14 year-old son and I drove up from Omaha on Sunday morning. What a great trip. From the messages to the music to the organization to the weather, everything was excellent. What a sight it was to see thousands of people gathered together, lifting their hands to glorify God. We came away blessed and impressed. A huge thanks to the organizers for putting together a terrific program. I think my son put it best when he asked, "Why don't we have something like this in Omaha?" Good question!

LifeLight 2003 was awesome! I brought a friend with me this year and he committed his life to Jesus.
I was raised in a Pentecostal home, but until LifeLight I could never give Jesus complete control. I have tried to fill the void with the ways of the world. Thanks to a great family, as well as a loving church family and a patient and loving Jesus, I have finally given Jesus complete control of my life. I can't explain how good I feel! I am now, with the Lord's help, as of today quitting smoking! I would like to thank all of the people that helped with LifeLight. You all did an excellent job! God bless all of you!

Hello to anyone and everyone from the bottom of my heart, if you helped or volunteered in any way you have changed my life! I am 15 and have been a Christian since the age of 5, raised in a Christian home and environment all my life. Struggles have always come knocking at my door. I am adopted and as wonderful and beautiful as it is it is not always an easy thing to deal with. My birthmother was very young when she had me and couldn't handle the experience so did what was best for me. I have always held what I would now call a "grudge" knowing that someone who loved me and gave birth to me could just give me up. But at Life Light, there was a sign I saw that said "Adoption or Abortion ... and went on to say the best things that have really touched me. I should be THANKFUL to God for letting me be here, and I also realized I needed to make something of my life, I always knew God was calling me to do something wonderful. People I don't even know have told me God has plans for my life! I don't know what path God is leading me in, but I know that He is making the paths right for me even as we speak! I was meant to be at LifeLight. To learn to follow my Lord and give up the "grudge" I had, for I am here to serve my Lord! Thank you to everyone who helped serve with this event! I pray God touched every life that was there!
God Bless!
I had an awesome time at LifeLight this year. Last year was the first year I attended, and I had to come back this year because I had such a great time the first year.
I saw Superchic[k] in concert for the first time at LifeLight last year, and was extremely happy to see you bring them back this year; I hope you do the same next year. They have an important ministry and are such caring people. This year I also really enjoyed Rock 'N Roll Worship Circus, 38th Parallel, KJ-52, Rebecca St. James, Skillet, Riley Armstrong, and Pigeon John.
I volunteered in the vendor area this year, and had a lot of fun with that. You guys were pretty thinly spread and I put in a few extra hours because of that, but I had a great time and was willing to put in the extra time. I really appreciate the festival and I felt like I should volunteer to give back because of what I've gained from
LifeLight. I am planning to volunteer again and I can't wait to see what you've got in store for next year! Keep up the great work!
"The Holy Spirit was moving about in a way I have never experienced before with my own eyes."

I just wanted to say that my family and I are very grateful and blessed to have attended LifeLight, and I know that it would not have been possible had it not been for the wonderful Christian businesses that sponsored it. This is the 2nd year we attended and I look forward to it again next year!
The Holy Spirit was moving about in a way I have never experienced before with my own eyes. I saw many tears and shed a few myself, but they were tears that the Lord and angels were rejoicing over. The Sunday morning worship service was especially moving and touching as I turned around and saw people streaming out of the bleachers to receive Christ as their Savior. That was unbelievable! It was wonderful experience altogether and all three days and I am praying for future LifeLight festivals already.
God Bless you all!
