A Message from LifeLight

Alan and Vicki Greene are founders of LifeLight Communications; a movement of God and a faith based organization. For inquiries on speaking to you or your group call

Faith is tested and proven in adversity.  Thank you to all of you for your support of the 2004 LifeLight Festival.  LifeLight is certainly one of the largest events in the country, and has very quickly become one of the nation’s largest Christian music festivals featuring all styles of music, and crossing generational, denominational, and cultural lines.

God did a mighty work at the festival.  We know many lives were affected and transformed through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.  If you are one whose life was changed, please tell us your story.

We rejoice that over the 4 days, an estimated 6,400 people made first-time and recommitments to Jesus Christ.  The attendance estimates for the 4-day festival are between 230,000 and 250,000.   As Jose Zayas offered the invitation during Steven Curtis Chapman, hands went up all over the crowd.  Jose said it was the largest response he had ever seen – it was massive.  One counselor talked with 20 people in the crowd and prayed with each one.  Only God knows the actual number, and He indeed knows each and every one by name.  In addition, throughout the festival various artists, speakers, evangelists, and ministries shared the gospel of Jesus Christ through music, seminars, dramas, exhibition sports, etc.  Please pray for these new believers and those who have turned back to Christ as they start in their new and renewed lives.

This year, faithful fans stayed and came back after 2 torrential rainstorms.  It was a witness to many when the festival went on and God’s word was proclaimed.  His word never returns void.  With over 100 bands on 8 stages and activity areas, this year’s festival was a huge undertaking.  Many businesses, churches, and individuals were very supportive.  We know God is in control of every area, and has a plan for this movement of His.  He is always faithful.

Our overall budget for this year’s festival was $540,000 – as of the writing of this message we remain approximately $70,000 short.  Please prayerfully consider a financial gift to assist us in covering this shortfall.

You are all an encouragement to us, and we believe the Light of the true gospel of Jesus Christ went forth at LifeLight.  May He continue to use each of you for His purpose and glory.

II Corinthians 3:2

2You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody.

II Corinthians 4:1-6

1Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

What a privilege we consider it to co-labor with you in God’s ministry.  Please contact us if you have any questions or a prayer need or concern.

For the Kingdom,

Alan & Vicki Greene

Many times God gives us a vision or a calling and may not reveal the entire plan or how it will unfold. He just wants us to be obedient.  If we will take the first step He is faithful. Read the rest ...
