Gospel for Asia trains and sends native missionaries because they have proven extremely effective. They are already familiar with the language and culture, and they live at the level of the people they serve, thus removing many social barriers.

Jose Zayas
Jose was seven when he gave his life to Christ, and he began preaching in his early teens. “There wasn’t a time in my life when I did not think that I would serve in ministry,” he says. “Even as a child, telling others about my relationship with Christ seemed natural. In high school I came to grips with God’s call on my life as an evangelist.”

Now Jose is proclaiming the Gospel throughout the United States and overseas—through his ministry, Jose Zayas Evangelism International, and as the teen evangelism director for Focus on the Family.
